S26b: Student-Centered Learning in the Chemistry Classroom and Laboratory

Organizers: Frank Creegan (Washington College, USA), Thomas Greenbowe (Iowa State University, USA)

Presider: R Daniel Libby (Moravian College, USA)

The goal of this multi-session symposium is to bring together practitioners of a variety of student-centered classroom and laboratory pedagogies from across the curriculum, from high school through university level. Emphasis will be placed on those approaches that require students to be actively engaged on a regular basis. Presentations that focus on outcomes of student-centered approaches are especially welcome.
